Rod Embree, OD
Dr. Embree has been serving vision needs in Fort Wayne for over 15 years, after graduating with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry. Known for his caring, warm personality and colorful bow ties, Dr. Embree takes the time to really listen to his patients’ needs and concerns.
Aaron Frey, OD
Dr. Frey is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry and brings 18 years of experience to Longe Optical. Dr. Frey is also active in working with our optometrists and store teams to provide expert levels of patient care.
Christina Kennedy, OD
Dr. Kennedy is new to the Fort Wayne area after practicing in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Valdosta, Georgia, and Johnson City, Tennessee. She provides expert care through comprehensive eye exams, which include a full health check of the eye, along with fitting and evaluating contact lenses.
Kent Mackey, OD
Dr. Mackey graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Optometry and has been practicing in Fort Wayne for more than 30 years. Many of Dr. Mackey's patients have been coming to him since they were children and continue to see him today.
David Millay, OD
Dr. Millay is a NE Indiana/NW Ohio native and graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry. After graduation, Dr. Millay practiced in Indiana and Minnesota before serving a tour on active duty in the US Air Force. Dr. Millay is continually pursuing a deeper knowledge of medicine, seeking to grow in his ability to better serve his patients.
Christopher Pataluch, OD
Dr. Pataluch is an Indiana University School of Optometry graduate and has been practicing at Longe Optical since 1996. He specializes in providing comprehensive eye exams, including challenging contact lens fits, and is certified in treatment for managing ocular disease.
Ed Schneider, OD
Dr. Schneider is a graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry, and has been taking care of patients in Northern Indiana for the last 14 years. In addition to providing excellent care locally, Dr. Schneider has traveled internationally with mission teams serving the needy in Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, St. Vincent, and Jamaica.
Emma Shoemaker, OD
Dr. Shoemaker is a New Haven native and graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry. She completed her residency at a V.A. hospital in Huntington, West Virginia, and has specialty training in glaucoma, macular degeneration, acute care, and pre/post operative care.
Myra Weber, OD
Dr. Weber graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She has lived and practiced in Fort Wayne since 2009. She enjoys taking care of patients of all ages, practicing primary care optometry, co-managing LASIK and cataract surgery, and treating/managing many ocular disease conditions, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, dry eye disease, and acute eye infections/conditions. She also is an InfantSee provider, providing free eye exams to children under the age of 1.
